Beginner Gundog Course
About
Starting 27th October @ 10am
In this course, we will establish the basics of gundog training. To build a better bond with your dog and establish more control in the areas you need it.
These classes are suitable for working breeds, dogs with a desire to hunt or retrieve. Crossbreeds and pet dogs and owners that want to achieve a high standard of obedience.
We will include:
Proximity Games
Steadiness
Heel
Recall
Introduction to retrieves and hunting
Each course will involve 6 sessions,
£120 per dog.
This course will be held at my training field near Normanton LE15, details on enquiry.

Novice Gundog Course
About
Starting: Sunday 27th of October @ 11am
​
In this course we will progress whistle commands, hunting and retrieve work. Suitable for any dog that will return with a retrieve item to the handler, ideally delivery to hand.
​
We will be working towards Pre- Novice and Novice test scenarios.
​
We will include:
Basic marked and memory retrieves.
Hunting commands.
Steadiness and heelwork.
Stop Whistle.
Each session is from 11-12pm for 6 weeks. This course is in a fenced field in Normanton near Oakham LE15.

Hunting Workshop
About
Starting 12th of October @ 9am
​
Working on test and beating scenarios. Suitable for spaniel breeds and those looking to get better hunting out of their dogs.
​
We will be working on turn whistle, sit to flush and how to increase your dog’s natural hunting ability.
​
Dogs must be able to work off lead around other dogs in open spaces.
​
£30 per dog.

Retrieve Workshop
About
Starting 12th October @ 1:30pm
​
For keen retrievers or for those looking to progress their handling skills. This workshop is aims to improve your dog’s confidence when sending your dog for a more challenging for retrieves.
​
We will be building on marked, directional retrieves and introducing memories and blinds.
​
This day will also be set up more like a test day where you will have periods waiting turns for retrieves. This is to allow dogs to practice being calm whilst waiting.
​
£30 per dog.
